Why Change a Great Machine?

The Signature Series has long been one of the top heat presses on the market. So why change a great machine? Because we believe there's always room to get better. We took years of feedback and experience and put it into the Gen 2 Signature Series, keeping everything you love and upgrading the rest. It now has a laser-cut steel frame, UL certified parts, simpler operation, built-in presets, and more. It's the Signature Series, built for how you press today.

What's New in Gen 2

  • 6 Customizable Presets

Edit, save and recall time and temperature for DTF, HTV, sublimation and more.

  • 15.5" Slide-Out Drawer

Extends over 60% further than Gen 1 for full access to the lower platen, away from the heat.

  • Laser-Cut Steel Frame

Rolled, laser-cut steel is stronger and lighter than a cast metal frame.

  • Heat Shield Cover

Lowers the surface temperature of the upper platen housing.

  • Faster Heat-Up

Reaches 300°F in about 15 minutes, over 30% faster than Gen 1.

  • Snag-Free Tracks

Side-mounted tracks keep apparel from catching as the drawer slides back.

  • Thick Item Capable

Up to 0.75" of clearance, plus hover mode on the 15" x 15" and 16" x 20" clamshells.

  • Dual Fuse System

A built-in spare fuse means moving two wires instead of ordering a replacement.

6 Fully Customizable Presets

Start with six preloaded settings for popular applications, or customize and save each preset’s time and temperature to match your materials. Load your blank and press. It's that simple.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's different from the original Signature Series?

Gen 2 is rebuilt from the frame up: a laser-cut steel frame, a redesigned gauge with six presets, a 15.5" slide-out drawer, a thicker heating element, a heat shield cover, faster heat-up, a detachable gauge and a dual fuse system.

Which models are available?

Clamshell: 15" x 15", 16" x 20" and 16" x 24", each in standard or Auto-Open.
Swing Away: 15" x 15" and 16" x 20".
Mug and Tumbler: Single, 2-in-1, 3-in-1, 5-in-1, 8-in-1 and 14-in-1.

What's the difference between standard and Auto-Open?

Auto-Open models have a magnetic release that opens the press automatically when the timer reaches zero, so you can prep your next piece while the current one transfers.

How fast does it heat up?

About 15 minutes to reach 300°F, over 30% faster than the previous generation. Based on 16" x 20" models; actual time varies with climate and power supply.

Can I press thick items?

Yes. Gen 2 heat presses offer up to 0.75" of clearance for rigid substrates. The 15" x 15" and 16" x 20" clamshells also have hover capability for curing and other no-contact applications.

What warranty is included?

2 years machine coverage and 5 years heating element coverage, with free lifetime technical support through MyExpert Support. Mug presses include 2 years machine coverage; mug press heating elements are consumable and not covered. Add MyExpert Protection at checkout to extend machine coverage up to 5 years total.

Is assembly required?

It depends on the model. Slide-out clamshells ship with the control box detached in the same box; plug it in and screw it onto the press. The 16" x 24" Auto-Open ships in 2 boxes, with the silicone pad in the second box. The 15" x 15" Swing Away arrives fully assembled, and the 16" x 20" Swing Away ships in 2 boxes with the lower platen ready to slide onto the frame. Mug presses arrive fully assembled.

What power does it need?

The 16" x 20" clamshell runs on a standard 120V outlet and is rated at 1750W / 14.58 amps. Check each listing for model-specific specs.
